Wrabbit 16/12/19(Mon)19:07 Not sure if this is the right thread to request this, but does anyone have the English translated Tenchi Muyo light novels, or Kajashima doujins? Been searching for those for ages. Also, any Aliens, Terminator, Predator novels would be good.
Had someone recommend them to me. In return, have this link to a torrent I just found which contains a bunch of novels, and a lot of D'n'D stuff (just tick off the stuff you don't want). There's all kinds of good stuff in there, including Asimov, Zelany, Niven, Herbert, along with the expected D'n'D novels.
About is a sub where you can find new books based on suggestions from the community. Useful Posts Literature Related Subreddits Posting Guidelines Spoilers Please use spoiler tags when posting plot revealing information about a particular book.
Spoiler tags are used as follows: [Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker’s father.](/spoiler) which gives: Disallowed submissions • Submissions that don't ask for book suggestions! Honorverse (David Weber) is probably the most obvious. Starts with On Basilisk Station Others (in no particular order): • Posleen War by John Ringo (Starts: Hymn Before Battle) • Armor by John Steakly • The Lost Fleet by Jack Campbell (Starts: The Lost Fleet: Dauntless) • Owner Trilogy by Neal Asher (Starts: The Departure) • Polity Universe by Neal Asher (Starts: Prador Moon) • Star Carrier by Ian Douglas (Starts: Earth Strike) • Humanity's Fire by Michael Cobley (Starts: The Seeds of Earth) Plenty more out there as well. I'll try to add some more later, but it's dinner time. More: • Old Man's War by John Scalzi (Starts: Old Man's War) (This one might not really count as generic Military Sci-Fi, there's a lot more to it than that) • Safehold by David Weber (Starts: Off Armageddon Reef) • Empire of Man by David Weber (Starts: March Upcountry) • Live Free or Die by John Ringo (Starts: Troy Rising) • In Fury Born by David Weber • Bolo by Keith Laumer (Starts: Bolo) • RCN by David Drake (Starts: Lt. Leary) • • • •.
Someone else had a pretty similar request I just answered, so I'll copy and paste my answer here too: Definitely check out, in no particular order, the Old Man's War series by John Scalzi, the Tour of the Merrimack series by R.M. Meluch, the Vorpal Blade series by John Ringo and Travis Taylor, the Orphanage series by Robert Buettner, and Ian Douglas' Heritage Trilogy, Inheritance Trilogy, Legacy Trilogy, Star Carrier series, Star Corpsman series, and just about anything else he's written (he's very prolific and I'm pretty sure he's got at least one more military sci-fi series going now).
